Here is what Axios Review can do for you:

1. The fit of your paper is assessed simultaneously for four target journals, so you don’t need to submit to each one in turn and wait for a decision.
2. We aim to provide decisions and referrals within 4-6 weeks, after which you should be submitting it to a journal that is interested in your paper.
3. If a journal does ask you to submit, the situation is similar to having received a ‘reject, encourage resubmission’ or a ‘minor revisions’ decision from that journal’s review process: they have agreed that your paper fits within their scope and could be improved the point of acceptance. To put this in context, 75% of resubmissions to high ranked journals in evolution end up being accepted.
4. Once referred, 80% of papers reviewed by Axios are accepted for publication, and half of these do not go back out for external review
